Welcome to the Manta Ray Bay Hotel — the premiere dedicated dive resort on the island of Yap in Micronesia, designed by divers and built for divers. All of the dive facilities are conveniently located within steps of the Hotel, which also offers world class fishing, wildlife and nature kayaking, and a full range of island tours specifically designed to showcase Yap’s unique indigenous culture.
The Resort has all of the services and conveniences for divers and non-divers alike. Take a dip in the infinity pool and soak up some Micronesian sun. Enjoy a relaxing massage at the Taro Leaf Spa. Savor the delicious cuisine onboard the unique restaurant, Mnuw at the Manta Ray Bistro. Then grab a pint from the on-site brewery, Stone Money Brewing Company, at the Crow's Nest Bar.
Guests can choose from Standard rooms, Ocean View or Ocean View deluxe & suite. Each uniquely themed rooms offers:
Award winning Yap Divers is Yap's first PADI 5-star Dive Facility and is adjacent to the Manta Ray Bay Hotel thus forming Yap's first PADI Gold Palm Resort. With Yap Divers, you can be assured of clean, pure air, safe diving, and a full range of instruction available from Open Water through Divemaster. They also offer a number of specialty dive certifications for those who want to expand their formal dive training, and are home to the only place in the world where you can do the PADI certified Manta Ray Awareness Course. This makes for a perfect combination to enhance the Yap Island vacation!
The dive traveler is offered all that he or she could ever ask for in terms of dive experiences with regularly scheduled drift dives, wall dives, cavern dives and night dives, as well as their specialty - Giant Manta dives.
For non-divers or when you are between dives, the resort also offers world class fishing with Yap Anglers, and an opportunity to explore the wildlife and nature by kayaking with Yap's Planet Blue Kayak Tours, as well as a full range of island tours specifically designed to showcase Yap’s unique indigenous culture. |
