Kralendijk

Kralendijk is the capital city and main port of Bonaire, beautifully embellished by attractive multi-coloured buildings and hemmed by picture-perfect powder-white beaches. Take a stroll downtown on the main streets and shop, dine at the excellent restaurants, visit the Terramar and Bonaire Museums and, during summer, browse unique souvenirs at the market on Plaza Wilhelmina while admiring the low-rise Caribbean architecture. For a more adventure-filled stay, explore the small, uninhabited island of Klein Bonaire, located off the coast of Kralendijk, noted for its diving and snorkelling opportunities. The small beaches are home to the nesting areas for Hawksbill, Loggerhead, Green turtles and Leatherback turtles.
