The pristine, secluded beach provides guests 1,000 feet of pure enjoyment! Surrounded by rolling hills, palm trees, and rocky cliffs and dotted with beach chairs and hammocks. There is great snorkeling on the east end amongst the colorful coral and awesome sandy bottom on the west end for swimming.

The resorts spacious rooms are clustered within 26 buildings with views of the Caribbean framed by the resort & tropical gardens. All rooms are furnished in a charming ‘Classic Caribbean Style’. Rooms are 563 sq. ft. and feature: Air conditioning, ceiling fan, king-size bed, private bath with twin vanities, large shower, walk-in closet, safe, separate sitting area with pull out sofa, refrigerator or full kitchen, satellite TV (flat panel in superior), clock/radio, hair dryer, iron/board, direct-dial phone, private screened-in porch with cushioned seating, screened & louvered windows. Rooms come in Standard, Superior and Value, depending upon on required choice of amenities.

Internet access is available at the resort. A complimentary computer is located in the Lobby for guest use. Free wireless internet access is available in the Flamboyant Terrace and Restaurant areas and in the Boardroom when not booked for meetings.

No Cell Phones: Carambola’s secluded location makes it difficult for cell phone reception within the resort. Most guests view this as a benefit, since it is one of the few places in the Caribbean where you do not have to listen to cell phone tones or one way conversations. However, most cell phones work just fine once you get to the other side of our hill – so you can check your messages and make any necessary calls by driving just a few minutes from the resort. You can still stay in touch while sightseeing and then return to the calm, relaxing, cell-phone-free environment at Carambola Beach Resort.

Dive Center: 

Cane Bay Dive Shop has a shop located right on the beach at Carambola Beach Resort. Cane Bay Dive Shop is a full service PADI 5-star IDC dive center, featuring retail, repair, and instructional facilities. Whether you need your first certification, advanced, EFR, Divemaster, or specialty classes, Cane Bay Dive Shop can arrange day or evening classes for private instruction through any size group. Cane Bay Dive Shop also accepts referrals from other associations. It was the FIRST Dive Shop in St. Croix to feature NITROX diving, classes, and air fills.

Although many dive sites are easily accessible from shore, there are some that do require boats. Since Cane Bay Dive Shop is in the heart of all the best diving on St. Croix and in the Caribbean, there is no need for large boats with big groups or long boat rides. Cane Bay Dive Shop has the most unique and state of the art inflatable dive boats. These 2Oft pontoon boats were designed for navy seals with extremely easy entrances and exits through the hull of the boat. The boats are fast and very comfortable, with a maximum of six divers per boat. This gives the freedom to take as little as two divers at a time, or to schedule private dives at your convenience. The boats are also available for unique snorkel and sightseeing trips along the North Shore and from Divi Carina Bay Resort.

Private Boat dives are two to six people.  Larger Groups may now dive from the 36 ft Newton Dive Boat.
