Sometimes the best adventures begin when you least expect them.

After raising two boys into young adulthood, Cindy found herself with an opportunity to try something completely new. When she reconnected with and eventually married a former junior high school classmate, she also discovered his passion for the underwater world. Scott, an avid diver and underwater videographer, encouraged Cindy to give scuba a try – and soon, a new passion of her own was born.

Cindy earned her scuba certification in the frigid, murky waters off the California coast, proving from the very beginning that she wasn’t afraid to jump into a challenge. But Scott had another adventure waiting for her almost immediately: a 10-day liveaboard trip to Palau, arranged through Deep Blue Adventures.

After being introduced to the incredible diving of Palau, Cindy and Scott were officially spoiled – and they haven’t looked back since. For more than a decade, the two have traveled the Caribbean and South Pacific as group leaders, sharing their love of diving and adventure with others along the way.

Cindy was a longtime Deep Blue Adventures client before becoming one of our own Travel Experience Specialists. After years of arranging her own adventures through Deep Blue, joining the team was a natural next step. Today, she brings that firsthand traveler perspective to every client she works with.

Known for her incredible attention to detail, Cindy loves helping people discover the wonders that exist both above and below the surface. She understands that a great trip isn’t just about choosing a destination – it’s about making sure all the little details come together so travelers can relax, enjoy the experience, and make the most of every moment.

Her expertise doesn’t stop at the ocean’s edge, either.

Cindy has been an active member of her local ski club for more than a decade and has served on its board as Director of Winter Activities. Whether she’s planning an underwater adventure in the South Pacific or helping others make the most of a snowy mountain getaway, Cindy brings the same enthusiasm, organization, and attention to detail to everything she does.

For Cindy, adventure isn’t limited to one season, one destination, or even one side of the planet. It’s about continuing to discover something new, sharing those experiences with others, and making sure every journey is everything her clients hoped it would be.
