For Sarah, a love of travel, exploration, and adventure has been woven into her life from an early age – and some of her earliest adventures began alongside the Deep Blue family.

Sarah attended The Ohio State University and the University of Toledo, where she earned her Law Degree. Her love of travel and all things international even took her across the Atlantic for a summer of study at Oxford in the United Kingdom, combining her academic pursuits with her passion for experiencing life beyond home.

Her connection to Deep Blue goes back much further, though.

Sarah grew up in a family of divers, and her family became close friends with the Pattersons through scuba diving. Her brother was Alex’s Scuba Rangers buddy, and the families eventually traveled together to Costa Rica on a trip led by Cheryl. Scuba Rangers had been taught by Cheryl, so when Alex finally reached the age to become certified, she and Sarah earned their scuba certifications together – beginning an adventure that the two have continued to share ever since.

Sarah has embraced travel in many different ways over the years. She has explored the world both independently as a solo traveler and alongside friends and family, always drawn to destinations where history, culture, and adventure intersect.

African safaris have become especially meaningful to Sarah, combining her love of wildlife, history, and exploration. Her diving adventures have taken her even further afield, with one of her most recent trips bringing her to Italy to explore the ancient sunken city of Baia, often called the “Underwater Pompeii.”

Today, Sarah brings that same curiosity and attention to detail to her role as Deep Blue’s Travel Specialist Associate. Working alongside our Travel Experience Specialists, she helps manage the many behind-the-scenes details that go into every client’s journey. Her legal background, organizational skills, and meticulous attention to detail make her an invaluable part of the team and help ensure that the little things don’t get overlooked.

Sarah believes that some of the best travel experiences happen when you take the time to understand not just where you’re going, but the story behind the place. Whether she’s exploring an ancient city beneath the Mediterranean, watching wildlife on safari, diving somewhere new, or discovering a destination with friends and family, she loves finding the history, culture, and unexpected moments that make a journey unforgettable.

When she’s not traveling or practicing law, Sarah can usually be found curled up with a good book, cuddling her three sweet pups, or working from one of her favorite local coffee shops. She’s a proud aunt, an avid Swiftie, a devoted Buckeye, and is often lending a hand at her family’s law office.

For Sarah, travel is about curiosity, connection, and discovering the stories that make our world extraordinary.
