Roseau

Roseau is the official capital city of the island of Dominica, and is bountiful in its attractions. Watch the sunset over the colorful boats from a seaside restaurant, take a stroll through the atmospheric French Quarter, or picnic in the gorgeous Botanical Gardens. There are numerous heritage sites to see; must-sees include the glorious Roseau cathedral and charming Saint George’s Anglican Church. The town is a popular cruise stop, and a favorite amongst nature lovers, who’ll find days’ worth of adventure in the surrounding thickly forested mountains.
