Gangga Island is a small landmass in Indonesia, just off the coast of Manado, boasting alluring soft white sands, calm, azure waters, and magnificent, photogenic reefs. While there are a few resorts on the island, its flora and fauna are still pure and thriving, especially under the water where a diversity of abundant marine life has its home. There are various guided snorkeling, diving and fishing trips on offer. It should also be noted that the island is perfectly located to function as a base for explorations of the Bangka Island, Bunaken National Marine Park and Lembeh Strait dive sites. The small island community are mostly fishermen.
