Thanda Tented Camp offers a traditional safari experience. It is camping but it’s very glamorous, with beautifully appointed, ensuite, canvas-walled rooms, comfortable beds, and inside as well as outside showers.
Thanda Tented Camp has a central living area for relaxing and dining, with a swimming pool and boma where guests sit around the fire at night or enjoy a bush braai. All in an evocative wilderness environment complemented with flickering firelight and lanterns illuminating the paths to the tents at night.
Thanda Safari offers delicious cuisine for every dietary requirement. There’s an enticing breakfast menu, two-course lunches, three or four-course dinners, bush barbecues (braais), and mouth-watering high teas.

Thanda Tented Camp offers early morning and late afternoon safari drives as this is the best time to look for the Big Five, led by experts of the African bush. You’ll see an incredible range of animals, including cheetahs, hyaenas, giraffes, warthogs, and an abundance of bird and plant life.
Guided walks through the bush can also be organized, as can photographic safaris. Both offer a thrilling experience of the wilderness and all its inhabitants.
