Guests will enjoy the peaceful nature at Arawak. Balconies overlooking the Salt River Bay offer the chance to sit back, relax, and watch the world go by. Guests can also participate in guided early morning walks.

A must have is to get out and actually explore Salt River Bay. This is the only site in the Virgin Islands where Christopher Columbus actually came ashore, which he did here in 1493. This area remains an ecological preserve, providing a sanctuary and protected breeding ground for a wide variety of birds, fish and sea turtles.

Just a 5 minute drive from Arawak is Cane Bay Dive Shop, a PADI 5 Star Dive Center, that provides some of the best diving within the Salt River National Park including Wall Diving at the East and West Wall at Salt River Canyon.
