The 21 rooms at Small Hope Bay Lodge are spread across charming cottages made from coral rock and Andros pine. Each cottage offers a sea-view, private toilet/shower facilities, and is fully tiled. Guests can enjoy overhead ceiling fans (with some rooms offering air-conditioning), locally crafted furniture, and decorations featuring Androsia Batik fabrics. Families will appreciate the four two-bedroom cottages, while couples can opt for the special honeymoon cottage. All cottages are shaded by palm trees and sit directly on the beach. A secluded swimming beach is also available for guests.
Diving Paradise
For diving enthusiasts, Small Hope Bay Lodge offers two types of diving experiences. The resort’s onsite dive operation is known for its personal attention to each guest’s needs. There are more than 60 regularly scheduled recreational dives, plus custom specialty dives for the more advanced divers. With four boats (including two large pontoon boats), the resort can accommodate smaller groups of divers and snorkelers, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable experience.
Each day includes three regular dives, and sometimes a night dive is scheduled for those looking for something extra special. Whether you’re a novice or a seasoned diver, the dive operation tailors each outing to match your skill level and interest.
