Fiji Adventure Continued Day 2
I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived at The Terraces Apartments in Denarau. Of course, greeted with a smile and BULA as soon as I walked in the door. The Terraces are located right across the street from the Port of Denarau where there are restaurants, shops and the Ferry Dock to take you to the Yasawas and Mamanucas for day trips or overnights.
My 1 bedroom apartment was very nice and spacious with a kitchen, porch with table and chairs, a living room with AC and TV. There was even a washer, dryer, hair dryer, coffee, soaps, etc.
The rooms overlook a little lagoon and the golf course. It was beautifully landscaped with an outside dining and pool area. Check out was a breeze this morning and the staff drove me and my luggage to the port in a golf cart and assisted with my luggage to the check in counter for my South Seas Ferry check in. Anybody needing an overnight for a night or a couple of nights enroute to other islands or destinations throughout Fiji, I highly recommend this property for a great value compared to the big name resorts in Denarau.
So sitting here writing my latest update with a Bloody Mary in hand, free internet and good food at Lulu’s on the water at the port of Denarau. So far, my trip has started off with a bang and shout out to the great people of Fiji! Vinaka Vakalevu. Hope to not be boring everybody to death but want to share every moment of my adventures with you in the hopes that you too will make it to Fiji and get to experience the warmth and hospitality of these beautiful islands and the gracious people of Fiji
Jumped on the ferry that delivered us to Mana Island which took about 1 hour. Met up with fellow Dive Expo attendees and exhibitors. Beautifully landscaped with palm trees, white sand beach, hammocks all over looking the ocean.
Our hosted dinner last night with the resort managers was fantastic and entertaining with fellow expo attendees. Attended the expo today and gained more knowledge on resorts that i haven’t visited yet but stay tuned and check out the website in a couple of weeks with our newly added Fijian properties.
Not much to add today as i really was working today!
Stay tuned for my installment tomorrow when I move to Waidroka in Pacific Harbor and celebrate my old age!!
