Our last night on Mana Island was absolutely fantastic! After the expo, we were taken by golf carts to western facing beach for cocktails and socializing while sitting on overstuffed cushions watching the rain come down on the horizon and sparin
g us plus giving us an amazing sunset!
Before leaving Mana Island behind, I woke on my birthday and headed to treat myself to a massage! It was wonderful! Back on the ferry and headed to Denarau to catch my 2 hour scenic ride to Waidroka Bay Resort. Greeted with smiles, BULA’s and Happy Birthday Terri as soon as I arrived!
Lucky for me it was Kava and Lovo Feast night! Yeah!!! What a fun night of eating, singing, guitars and drinking Kava! What a way to celebrate my birthday! I just wish my friends and family were able to join me on my journey. But, I have made new friends along with the way so I am not alone. Actually, you are never alone in Fiji so even if you do happen travel by yourself, you will soon find yourself surrounded by the warmth and friendliness of the Fijian people who always go over and above to make sure that you are just as happy as they are!
