This trip to the Andasibe /Mantadia protected area and the Pangalanes channel in Akanin’ny Nofy, is a rich wildlife experience offering the chance to observe various species of lemurs, especially the largest endemic lemur of Madagascar, the Indri Indri as well as the shy, nocturnal Aye-aye.
But your lemurs will also include diademed sifaka, grey bamboo lemur, red-bellied lemur and white ruffed lemur – not to mention an abundance of birdlife including the scaly ground roller, the pitta-like ground roller and the breasted coua.
The boat trip will take you to discover the Pangalanes canal which is a succession of rivers and artificial lakes.
The itinerary ends with an optional add on of three nights on Ile Sainte Marie.
