Turneffe Island Resort has been a favorite resort for fly fishing, scuba diving and snorkeling for over 40 years. This 14-acre private Caribbean Island is located 30 miles off the coast of Belize on the Turneffe Atoll and is ideally situated near some of the best scuba diving and fishing in the Western Caribbean. Guests enjoy elegant accommodations, service that is second to none, exquisite Caribbean cuisine and of course, superb scuba diving, fishing and snorkeling. The resort’s exclusivity, charm and subtle hospitalities have created an environment that must be experienced to be truly appreciated.
Come enjoy the pristine waters of the Caribbean and swaying palm trees on your very own white sandy beach, all outside your deluxe lodge room or private cabana.
Turneffe Island Lodge enjoys the peaceful setting of a private island located 30 miles off the mainland of Belize in the Western Caribbean and has gorgeous views of it’s beautiful white sand beaches and the Caribbean Sea.
Packages include accommodations in superior lodge rooms. The hotel has four lodge buildings with multiple rooms. Each room has a private bath and shower, air conditioning, and ceiling fans. Rooms with two beds are also available upon request. To ensure your added comfort, all windows have screens and may be opened to enjoy the ocean breeze.
Along the southern coastline of the island, the resort has eight private cabanas that have been designed and constructed to maximize the Caribbean experience.
Each unit is located on the oceanfront and is nestled between the coconut palms lining this side of the island. The interior of each cabana from floor to ceiling is constructed from Belizean mahogany, known as some of the finest in the world.
The cabanas have been designed with over-sized windows and screened porches to allow for spectacular views.
Like all of the buildings on the island, the lodge’s dining room and lounge is located along the oceanfront. You’ll enjoy spectacular array of Belizean, Caribbean, and continental cuisine during your stay.
3 full meals a day are served, including a hot breakfast, at set times in the dining room. Snacks are available throughout the day and hors d’oeuvres are served prior to dinner. Meals are served family style and dinner includes appetizer, entree, and dessert. Meals that you may never forget include Snapper with Lemon Nut Crust, Coconut Shrimp, Fillet of Beef, or Grilled Lobster.
