Your guide will meet you in the hotel lobby after breakfast for your guided personal tour for the day and return late afternoon to the hotel.

Depart for the meeting point of the cable car, Ascend Table Mountain by rotating gondola for stunning 360 degrees views. Descent at approx 11am from Table Mountain.

After after breakfast depart via the Panorama route to seethe  Blyde River Canyon – the third deepest in the world.

Depart for OR Tambo airport for your flight to Livingstone Airport , Zambia.  Arrive at the worlds largest sheet of falling water.

Enjoy a Sundowners cruise down the Zambezi River and watch the teeming wildlife on the banks, drink in hand, just upstream from the Victoria Falls.

After breakfast depart for your 1 1/2 hour road transfer to the Kasane Immigration office where the Zambezi Queen boat staff will meet you and transfer you to the boat.

You’ll first arrive at the Zambezi Queen via a short tender boat ride from the Kasane Immigration Office. We offer staggered transfer times on the hour between 13:00 and 16:00, so you can arrive at your own pace and don’t have to worry about missing the boat.

After breakfast depart for Ol Kiombo airstrip for your flights back to Nairobi.

Meet and greet services, transfer to your hotel.

Transfer to Cairo airport for your flight to Aswan, meet and greet services and transfer to hotel.

Transfer to Aswan Airport for your flight to Abu Simbel.  Then you will board a bus to tour the Abu Simbel temples (approx. 1 hour).  The Abu Simbel Temples were cut from the rock and shifted to higher ground as the waters of Lake Nasser began to rise following the completion of the Aswan High Dam. After the excursion ends you will be transferred back to the airport for the return flight to Aswan.  Transfer to your hotel in Aswan.

You will be transferred from hotel to your Nile Cruiser in the morning before lunch. In the afternoon you will be able to enjoy a Felucca ride during which you might catch a glimpse of the lush Botanic Gardens on Kitchener’s Island, Elephantine Island and Aga Khan’s Mausoleum on the west bank (view only, no visit).

The day will start off with more touring in Aswan. Visit the High Dam, a huge rock-fill dam, which captures the world’s longest river. Then travel by motorboat to Agilika Island and visit the reassembled Philae Temple dedicated to the goddess Isis. The temple has a majestic aura, particularly at sunset when it turns to gold. Then the cruise officially gets underway as the cruiser first makes its way to Kom Ombo. Visit the Temple of Sobek and Haroeris, dedicated to the crocodile god and the falcon-headed god, and then continue to the cruise to Edfu

After breakfast, you will disembark and visit Karnak Temple, a complex dedicated to Amun Ra. Its impressive features are probably the most overwhelming of all the Egyptian monuments. Then visit Luxor Temple which was discovered beneath the shifting desert sands. Originally both temples were joined by an avenue of Sphinxes but avenue was later eroded and now they stand separately.

Today you have  a full day tour of Dendarah & Abydos
Travel to Dendarah Temple along a path between two Roman fountains that end at the massive entry gate. The enclosure walls are mud-brick and date to the Roman era. Various additions and alterations were made to the temple both by various pharaohs across various dynasties, Greeks and Romans. It is one of the most important temple sites in Egypt and features one of the best preserved temples.

Visit Abydos which contains archaeological remains from many periods of ancient Egyptian history making it one of the most important archeological sites in Egypt. Ancient Egyptians believed the mouth of the canyon at Abydos was the entrance to the underworld and as a result buried many of their dead here, including the first kings of a unified Egypt. One of the tombs of a 1st dynasty king was later mistaken to be the tomb of Osiris (Egyptian god of the Netherworld) which lead to ancient pilgrims leaving offerings to the god in clay pots in the area giving a part of the area another name, “Umm el Qa’ab” (meaning Mother of Pots).

Transfer to the airport for your flight to Cairo.   Today will be spent exploring the city of Cairo starting with a tour of the Egyptian Museum with the treasures from the Tut-Ankh-Amun burial site. Then the tour will continue to the Citadel from where one can enjoy a spectacular view of Cairo. Later you will visit the Alabaster Mosque, which adds a wonderful picture-postcard element to Cairo’s skyline. You will be given some time at leisure for shopping in the famous Khan-el-Khalili bazaar which is a labyrinth of cobbled alleyways. This vast bazaar tempts the senses with spices, perfume and glittering gold, silver and brass.

On this day you will finally be able to satisfy your curiosity regarding the Pyramid. But first you will visit Memphis, the ancient capital of the Old Kingdom of Egypt. It is the home of a colossal Statue of Ramesses II and the Alabaster Sphinx. Then you will continue to the “Cemetery City” of Sakkara and view the Step Pyramid of King Zoser, the oldest of all Pyramids. In the afternoon you will visit the Great Pyramids of Giza, the only present-day survivor of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World and the image which immediately pops into your head when you think of Egypt. Nearby, the mystical Sphinx surveys the plains of Giza. The 20m high man-animal Sphinx, created as a “living image of the sun-god”, was built by Chephren to guard the entrance to the Pyramids.

Drive 110km to Fayoum, Egypt’s largest oasis, overlooking Lake Qarun, which is a popular spot for hunting and fishing. Spend the morning among Egyptian antiquities and the serene orchards and gardens of the oasis. Fayoum is today a modern city, but you will still see the life-giving wonder of an Oasis

After breakfast depart for airport to fly to Jordan

Arrive Amman and transfer to your hotel.  Afternoon walking tour through the food and produce markets and stop to taste some traditional Jordanian sweets.

At Madaba, discover the famous mosaic map of the Holy Land. Continue to the dramatic desert landscapes of Wadi Rum where you will feel like you have stepped onto the moon during your stay at Martian tents of the Sun Camp.

2 hour Jeep ride in Wadi Rum:  Travel in the footsteps of Lawrence of Arabia as you discover Wadi Rum. Explore Lawrence Road and marvel at the vistas of ancient valleys and towering weathered sandstone mountains rising out of the pink and white sands.
Continue to the Rose Red City of Petra for your two-night stay.
This evening join the Petra by night tour and see the Treasury and chasms lit by candlelight.

This magnificent World Heritage-listed city is the legacy of the Nabataeans, who settled in southern Jordan more than 2,000 years ago. The impressive eastern entrance leads through a brilliantly coloured narrow gorge to the imposing Treasury, more than 40 metres high. Designed to impress, the rock-cut facade will take your breath away.

At Bethany Beyond the Jordan, see where Jesus was baptised, then view the memorial to Moses at Mount Nebo. Travel north to your resort for the next two nights on the shores of the Dead Sea. Relax and enjoy sweeping views over the Dead Sea and across to Israel.
